ShaderMap Installation Instructions
Installation
  1. Visit http://shadermap.com/downloads
  2. Click the link "ShaderMap 4 x86 / x64" - This will start the download in your browser.
  3. Locate the installation file "ShaderMap_v4_#_#.exe" in your downloads folder.
  4. Follow the installation prompts to install ShaderMap.
  5. Be sure to install the included Visual C++ runtimes and DirectX 9 binaries at the end of installation. They will not overwrite any existing Visual C++ or DirectX runtime, only update any missing files needed by ShaderMap.
Activation of Pro License
  1. After checkout through PayPal you will receive a password to login to your ShaderMap account. Ensure emails from shadermap.com are not sent to your spam folder.
    • If you upgraded through your account then the password email will not be sent to you.
  2. Visit http://shadermap.com/downloads
  3. Log in to your ShaderMap account on the right of the screen. If you forgot your password, click the "Reset Password" link.
  4. Once logged in, click the link "ShaderMap 4 Pro License Key" - This will start the download in your browser.
  5. Locate the activation key, it should be in your downloads folder.
  6. Double click the activation key and ShaderMap 4 should start fully activated. You can also drag and drop the file to the ShaderMap 4 shortcut.

  • Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, or 10
  • 32 or 64 bit CPU
  • 4 GB RAM
  • 1 GB Free Hard Drive
  • Graphics card with Shader Model 2.0a or higher
Recommended System Configuration
  • Windows 8.1 or 10
  • 64 bit CPU
  • 16+ GB RAM
  • 2 GB Free Hard Drive
  • Graphics card with Shader Model 3.0 or higher


Automatic Updates

If you have Auto Updates enabled in the ShaderMap Options and Settings then updates to ShaderMap 4 will be downloaded in the background and you will be notified when they are ready to install. Updates are much smaller than the full installer downloaded through the ShaderMap website.
