Normal Map from Normals
MAP: NORMAL (NORMAL)

A normal map generated from another normal map. This is useful when wanting to paint the normals of a source normal map or if you want to modify a source normal map in any way.

INPUTS:

Normal Map - A tangent space normal map.


PROPERTIES:

Modify Coordinate System Checkbox If checked the the normal coordinate system is modified to the New Coordinate System which is set in the next property.

Coordinate System
Dialog Box Sets the new coordinate system that the normals will use if the previous Modify Coordinate System checkbox is checked.
Intensity Slider The intensity of the normal in the XY direction. Intensity is set prior to normalization.
Invert Checkbox If checked then each normal has its X and Y components flipped. This could also be done by modifying the coordinate system.
Preserve Alpha Checkbox If checked the alpha values of the input map are maintained and placed in the alpha channel of the generated map.
